Tissue Paper Pom Pom's DIY

The tissue pom pom is such an inexpensive fabulous airy decoration.  Add them to a celebration, room decor, outdoors from branches, window display, or nursery, basically the options are endless.  At Italy Ava we do sell them but for all you brave DIY fans we thought we would provide a video along with step by step directions.

Tools & Materials

Tissue Paper

Scissors

Craft Wire

Step 1

Stack eight 20-by-30-inch sheets of tissue. Make 1 1/2-inch-wide accordion folds, creasing with each fold

Step 2

Fold an 18-inch piece of floral wire in half, and slip over center of folded tissue; twist. With scissors, trim ends of tissue into rounded or pointy shapes

Step 3

Separate layers, pulling away from center one at a time.

Step 4

Bend wire into a loop to fit around napkin, and twist end around loop to secure
