Vintage & Antique Finds at Italy Ava

I'm not your ordinary antique or vintage buyer, I buy for one purpose and that's because something about a piece appealed to me.  It could be color, shape, texture, eclectic style or just because I thought it was cute..never because I think it may be worth something.. I also sell my vintage pieces at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/italyava  Which has giving me the privileged to go global: US, Ireland, Canada, and  Australia all have purchased a vintage or antique piece from Italy Ava which to me, is so very cool..

Today two woman came into the store, probably in their 70's, and spent over an hour taking a walk through time, looking through the store reminiscing about pieces from the past.  I just listened and smiled because these pieces intrigued me for a total different reason but for them it's a story of the past.

Antique:  A collectible object such as a piece of furniture or work of art that has a high value because of its considerable age.  Usually the item must be 100 years or older to be considered antique..

Vintage: To be vintage item must be over 20 years old, so I usually go for anything before 1990.
