Day 107 ~ Kids Christmas

~ Kids Christmas ~

Christmas for kids should always be special. There are so many things you can do with your kids to make it special, now that we have pinterest, so many ideas are floating around. The best are your Christmas traditions you want to pass down to your kids, those are the special moments they are not going to forget. Or doing the same thing with your kids every year, like making a gingerbread house, stepping outside for the first snow fall of the season, or baking that special treat.
Here are a few things that we like to do and wanted to share with you.

Anakin & Xander enjoying the first snow fall this year!

Xander & Anakin's gingerbread house this year! Looks like they couldn't wait for the icing to dry either :))

Avery's gingerbread house this year, it was her first and she didn't feel like waiting for the icing to dry :)

Xander & Anakin's gingerbread cookies! Look so yummy!

Making sugar cookies & frosting them with the grandparents.

Yum~~

A few new traditions Avery and I started this year. Puppy chow was one of them.

And of course marshmallow treats.

Great way to decorate your kids room for the holiday!

Avery and I did these last year for gifts for the family, they were so much fun and really easy!

There is nothing better than crafts with kids, these are a lot of fun to do all year round. You can even take a pictures of them and then upload them to make a photo album instead of collecting all the art work.

Laura and I can't wait to start this Elf tradition with our kids next year. The Elf on a shelf is such a hit.

And what is better then at the end of the night curling up in your tent and reading a few books?!

Christmas means laughing and spending time with your family and friends but most important of all, it is celebrating the birth of Christ.
