Day 104 ~ Oreo Pop

~ OREO POPS ~

These are probably the easiest thing to make and decorate for any occasion! You can change out the sprinkles to any color or shape. Even change the white chocolate I used to milk or dark chocolate. They have Andes Mints crushed, melting that and dipping the oreo in that would be fabulously delicious.

Ingredients :
~ oreo, I used double stuffed of course
~ lollipop sticks
~ chocolate, white or milk or dark
~ sprinkles, your choice

Take one side of the oreo and remove it. Scrap a line down the middle so you can fit the lollipop stick in. I found if you add a little melted chocolate to the removed cookie side, it stick better.

Add your chocolate to a microwave bowl and microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between.  This is the part where I burnt by finger. Remember anything out of the microwave is HOT. I apparently forgot this!

I put the sprinkles in a bowl, I added only so much. That way I wasn't wasting any and could always add more.

This looks funny, but it is actually really yummy! Cover your oreo completely.

Dip one side into the sprinkles, make sure you press down a little so you know the sprinkles will stay to the chocolate. Turn it and do the other side.

And you are done! I set mine in the fridge to harden for awhile. Just because I didn't want to wait to taste them out. They were amazing! I'm just not sure my pants will be thanking me. Either way, these are so easy and fun to do with little helpers :)
